About the event

Exhibition Opening | Konrad Winkler: red earth and chalk dust, a retrospective
Celebrate the launch of our new exhibition 'Konrad Winkler: red earth and chalk dust, a retrospective'.

Hear directly from photographer Konrad Winkler and curator Charlie Ward as they reflect on a turbulent, playful and transformational moment in Northern Territory history.

Konrad Winkler’s photographs and cartoons capture the Northern Territory of the 1970s — raw, rebellious and on the brink of change.

This landmark exhibition is the first time his work has been shown in the Northern Territory.
